About Sjusjøen Hytteutleie AS
Sjusjøen Hytteutleie was established in 1996 and is a subsidiary of Ringsaker Almenning, one of the landowners at Sjusjøen. In the early years, the cabin rental operation was run from the toll keeper’s residence at Øvre Rømåsebom, and each cabin had its own yearly calendar where both bookings and the owner’s personal use were carefully recorded by hand.
In 2005, the operation was moved to what has long been known as the ‘Info Building,’ located at Sjusjøvegen 1595, and this is where you can find us today.
Much has changed in cabin rentals and tourism over the nearly 30 years, but the importance of knowledge about both Sjusjøen and each individual unit to ensure guests have a great stay remains just as important now as it was then.
Sjusjøen Hytteutleie has been a central figure in Sjusjøen since its inception, not only in terms of cabin rentals but also as a hub for cabin owners and tourists traveling to the mountains. With its location ‘at the foot of the mountain,’ it has become a natural stop for many seeking information and assistance.
We see it as very positive that many cabin owners have been renting through us for 10–15 years, and that guests choose to return time and time again!

Would you like to rent out your cabin or apartment when you’re not using it? We consistently have demand for rental cabins in the center of Sjusjøen and Natrudstilen. By letting us rent out your cabin for you, you can safely and easily earn money during the weeks you’re not using it. Of course, you also have the option to use the cabin/apartment yourself during the season. But remember, it’s during peak season that you can earn the most. We do not accept new cabins for just a few weeks of rental or for rental only in the summer. We have extensive experience and are happy to assist you with any practical questions.
