Natrudstilen
History
Natrudstilen cabin area dates back to the early 2000s and has experienced tremendous growth over the past 20 years. Development has included both cabins and apartments, creating a modern cabin area. Sjusjøen Ski Center opened in 2003, and in 2009, the outdoor area Sjusjøen Arena Natrudstilen was completed and ready for use.
Nature
Natrudstilen offers varied landscapes and is particularly well-suited for families with children, both in summer and winter. The area is relatively flat but includes some elevation gain towards Rømåsen. Whether hiking or skiing from Natrudstilen to Rømåsen or Sjusjøen, you should be prepared for an initial ascent.
In Natrudstilen, you will also find Eftastjernet. Around Eftastjernet, there is a designated trail with benches. There is also a beach with a pier and prepared barbecue areas.
On the north side of Eftastjernet, there is a sand volleyball court available for everyone to use. If you want to try your luck fishing, that’s also an option—just remember to get a fishing license if you’re over 18 years old.
Transport
There is a bus from Lillehammer to Natrudstilen. During the winter season, the bus route passes through Sjusjøen Ski Center. From winter 2024/2025 there will also be bus going from Moelv.
Facilities

Sjusjøen Skisenter
Sjusjøen Ski Center offers 4 lifts covering 8 slopes, totaling 7 kilometers of runs. The slopes have an elevation difference of up to 250 meters, and the longest run is 2.2 kilometers. A 6-seat chairlift runs from the base of the hill to the top of the ski area. At the top, you’ll also find Brannhytta, which now serves simple hot drinks and its famous cinnamon rolls.

Sjusjøen Café
Sjusjøen Café follows the opening hours of Sjusjøen Ski Center and is located in the same building. The café offers both lighter dishes and full dinner portions for those who desire them. The meal is topped off with refreshing drinks, making it perfect both during and after a full day on the slopes.

Multi-purpose Hall
As the name suggests, the Multi-purpose Hall is a facility with multiple functions. It features a sports hall that can accommodate football, handball, volleyball, basketball, and even bandy. The hall also includes a strength training room, which can be accessed by anyone for a fee. Additionally, there is a large kitchen, meeting rooms, locker rooms, and offices available for rent.

Sjusjøen Arena Natrudstilen
The arena includes a biathlon range, roller-ski track, a forest hut accessible to everyone, as well as race office and finish line facilities. The roller-ski tracks are covered with snow as early as the end of October, forming the foundation for the excellent early-season trails that Natrudstilen is known for.
Activities

Winter activities
If you stay in Natrudstilen, you are close to a wide range of winter activities, and in many cases, within walking distance to several of them. Snowboarding and downhill skiing at Sjusjøen Ski Center, cross-country skiing and biathlon at Sjusjøen Arena Natrudstilen.

Summer activities
In summer, Natrudstilen offers great hiking opportunities, as well as options for cycling. The area is especially suitable for children. There are fishing and swimming opportunities at Eftastjernet, along with a designated swimming area and a sand volleyball court.
Local events
The Season Start Biathlon is held every year in November at Sjusjøen Arena Natrudstilen, featuring international stars at the starting line. The area is also used for the IBU Cup, which is the equivalent of the Biathlon European Cup. In March/April, the Winter Games for the Cancer Foundation are held.
